Below, Berthilde Uwamwezi, the first doctoral student of our cooperation, blogs about a short trip he did last week.

On 2-3rd October 2014, I visited the libraries at the Linnaeus University in Växjö and the Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) in Karlskrona in order to learn from their experiences.

All these libraries are modern and digital ones and electronic resources are commonly used. Enough facilities for users like computer search labs, rooms for discussions and open space for individual work.

At BTH I had a good time with our friends librarians Anna and Kent and also with PhD students from Rwanda.
